THE CLIENT
Mecer is the proprietary brand of Mustek, South Africa’s leading assembler and distributor of branded PCs, all-in-ones, notebooks, tablets, inverters, UPSs and related products. The Mecer brand is one of South Africa’s top-selling PC brands.
Mecer has been one of South Africa’s top-selling PCs over the past two decades. Mustek’s ongoing interaction within the international IT industry has ensured that its proprietary brand, Mecer, has remained a techno-leader at the forefront of technology.



THE BRIEF

The objectives for the Mecer campaign were to promote their new compact PC, across multiple channels, sales incentive, and position Mecer as a proudly South African Brand. 

Sales target was set at 800 units for the campaign, and we achieved an overall sale of 10,000 units.

 

- Grow mind share and build a strong brand equity.

- Develop strong and clear messaging, and brand architecture.

- Build awareness about Microsoft licences in especially Windows Ten (10).

- Drive Traffic to the Mecer Website and online store.

- Drive demand for resellers. 

- Encourage local investment and consumption of local products. 

- Push Pull Marketing tactic across multitude of platforms – Integrated Marketing (IMC) Approach.

 

Create an awareness campaign on Mecer and its new compact PC, the

- Mecer Xtreme Mini PC Jupitar-H310 Small Form Factor PC

- Mecer Xtreme Mini PC Jupitar-J4105 Small Form Factor PC as well as,

- Mecer Xpression Z140C (Radio)

 

Across multiple channels, sales incentive and position it as a proudly South African brand.

15 Second animations were created for the Mecer Jupiter small form PC.

Sales Incentive

Sales incentive website was created to communicate with the Mustek sales team, giving information about the products, sales targets and incentive initiatives. Sales target was 800 units, the Mecer campaign achieved sales of over 10,000 units.

The copy was original, quirky, and well thought out. The creative was exquisite, a work of art. Our audience stopped and took notice. This made us proud.
